The Portfolio Manager will assist the Asset Recovery Relationship Managers in managing their portfolio of C&I and CRE loans
The candidate will have overall responsibility for the daily servicing of these commercial relationships, which may involve the management of existing loan and deposit accounts
Job Requirements: Work closely with the ARRMs to support the credit administration needs of the ARRMs customer portfolio as well as speak to customers to develop information concerning their business, financial condition, and operating performance
The work experience and training of the individual would dictate the complexity of the customer relationships managed, any credit authority extended, and the designation level of the Portfolio Manager
Responsible for preparing credit memorandums for approval of workout strategies
Assist the ARRMs in preparing reports submitted to management including Problem Loan Reports, presenting problem credits to management, analyzing cash flows and financial reports
Minimum Qualifications: Must have a bachelors degree, preferably in a business-related field but will accept equivalent experience in commercial banking lending divisions
Must have at least 4-5 years of relevant banking experience
Total relevant banking experience may be in the areas of Commercial Credit Administration, Commercial Real Estate, Middle Market, Business Banking, and/or Small Business Banking
Must have strong knowledge of commercial loan and deposit products
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent listening ability and presentation skills
Must have extensive PC abilities, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, NCino and other Data Applications and Platform programs required in managing the daily tasks assigned
