About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Accountant to join our Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a team covering one or more client relationships
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Prepare general ledger and work paper files for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare partner capital reports, including partner profit and loss statements
  • Calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees, and capital allocations
  • Reconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts
  • Calculate quarter-end final and estimated net asset values
  • Support the year-end audit process, in collaboration with the team, client, and auditors
  • Train and mentor junior staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 2+ years of private equity fund accounting experience
  • CPA or parts passed towards completion
  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • Experience using Yardi and/or MRI
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
