Enterprise Authentication Engineer Responsibilities

Build, scale, and secure Facebook's corporate infrastructure, focusing specifically on Meta workforce authentication and authorization Combine open-source and commercial technologies to build services that will have an impact on the business Work in a heterogeneous environment containing diverse operating systems and applications, and make them work well together Apply modern engineering methodologies such as infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and software-defined solutions to scale Facebook's rapidly growing authentication and authorization infrastructure Find ways to leverage the scale and complexity of the larger Facebook infrastructure to solve problems for Enterprise customers Be the final escalation point for issues related to Enterprise authentication Produce systems that are scalable, automated, and well-documented, and train others to take on operations

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in Identity and Access Management 5+ years system administration experience working in a distributed systems environment 5+ years experience coding in at least one of the following languages: PHP, Ruby, Python, or Go or equivalent 5+ years experience in shell scripting 5+ years experience working with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef

Preferred Qualifications

Authorization concepts and protocols IDP and Federator concepts and lifecycle management Identity and Access Management SME experience Experience with cloud/onPrem application integration to cloud/onPrem services MS in Computer Science
