In this role you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing sales tax data as well as analyzing accruals for tax accounts
- Analyzing tax problems and providing insight for relevant tax laws, implications, and actions
- Preparing state/local sales and use tax returns and property returns
- Preparing federal and state income tax returns
- Assisting sales and income tax audit processes
- Assisting with general accounting work or special projects as assigned by management
To be considered for this position you must have obtained:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of tax accounting experience, previous experience in public accounting is a plus
- CPA preferred highly desired
- Strong attention to detail, ability to problem solve, and team player attitude
- Advanced Excel skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
