is the frontline representative whose tasks include ensuring every interaction with customers is positive and productive. This person processes sales orders, responds to inquiries, addresses concerns and resolves problems swiftly and effectively. This is done while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. This position is responsible for coordinating the overall export operations to ensure that all country specific requirements are met. This is accomplished through extensive use of the company ERP system as well as continual communication with external customers, sales, production, quality, shipping, accounting, and external logistics providers.

**Key Duties:**

+ Prepares and reviews export documents, such as packing lists, business invoices, and certificates of origin. Ensures that documents are accurate, complete and comply with customs regulations.

+ Liaison with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments, negotiate rates, and monitor transportation arrangements. This includes all LCL, FCL and air shipments.

+ Keeps customers & sales informed about shipping options, rates, and timelines, and communicate with carriers and destinations about the status of shipments. Also, communicates with exporters to ensure information is accurate and timely.

+ Communicates accurate inventory and/or lead time for material which may involve communication with production coordinators to expedite requests at all warehouse and manufacturing locations.

+ Coordinates with sales to ensure accurate pricing for all quoted items is approved by management and entered in the ERP system.

+ Collects accounts receivable information to the credit department such as credit card information, updated payment terms or delays in payments. This also include the creation of new customers.

+ Provides sales order information to the procurement department on all direct shipments from suppliers to customers and resale (TIM) items for stock and coordinating export documentation and logistics if applicable.

+ Creates new customer ship to addresses in addition to updating existing customer information.

+ Processes all invoices daily as orders are shipped by uploading shipping documents from ERP system. This may also require processing credit or debit memos and material return credits.

+ Processes export orders shipping direct to our customers from our global affiliates.

+ Effectively coordinates with customers, sales, production scheduling, and shipping departments, to ensure that orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. This collaborative approach not only enhances the overall customer experience but also contributes to the company's reputation for reliability and service.

+ Builds and develops relationships with customers and sales to ensure a continued partnership.

+ Occasionally supports weekend Emergency Rotation.

**Qualifications:**

+ A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

+ Previous customer relations experience is preferred.

+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Must be proficient in MS Office applications and have accurate data entry skills.

+ Basic understanding of logistics and international shipping requirements.

+ Requires attention to detail and independent problem-solving skills.

+ Must have strong mathematical and computation skills.

+ Must be dependable and punctual.

+ Must be able to work in a team environment.

+ Capability to multi-task timely and efficiently with an emphasis to detail and organization.

**Work Environment:**

+ Office work environment.

+ Required to follow Allied Mineral Products Safety & Health policy and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
