Overview:

ONeil Cannon is seeking a Director of Administration to oversee and manage the firms administrative and business operations. This management position is critical to ensuring the efficient functioning of the firms daily operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and maintaining a productive work environment. The Director of Administration will work closely with attorneys and staff to support the firms goals and objectives:
Responsibilities:
General Responsibility: The Director of Administration shall have overall responsibility for the successful performance of all business, financial, technological, marketing, and clerical support functions of the firm. Fulfillment of those responsibilities, however, may occur directly, or in conjunction with the firms management team. It is the Director of Administrations ongoing responsibility to make recommendations to the Board of Directors with respect to continuous refinements in staffing of the support hierarchy so that the firm functions smoothly and efficiently.
Financial Management: The Director of Administration has responsibility for the management of all accounting functions of the firm, including direct responsibility for preparation of the firms monthly financial statements, budgeting, payroll administration, tax reporting, compliance reporting, and benefits administration.
Supervisory Responsibility: The Director of Administration provides general supervisory oversight to all staffing areas of the firm and when appropriate, counsels employees and acts as a spokesperson and liaison between attorneys and staff. The Director of Administration also oversees staffing levels and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors for recruiting and terminations, wage and salary adjustments, disciplinary measures, dispute resolutions, and policy administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior-level administrative or operational role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work with a diverse team.
Ability to implement administrative policies and procedures with knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with management and staff in all levels of the firm.
