Assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Research and analyzes current and future business opportunities. Works with marketing, sales and product solutions teams to implement business development initiatives. This is an "apprentice" type position with objective to develop into a sales role.Duties Responsibilities:Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunitiesContact potential clients through cold calls (out in the field) and emails and present to the companyIdentify client needs and suggest appropriate products/servicesCustomize product solutions to increase customer satisfactionBuild long-term trusting relationships with clientsProactively seek new business opportunities in the marketSet up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and sales teamStay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plansKnowledge, Skills Abilities:Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)Understanding of sales performance metricsExcellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skillsAbility to deliver engaging presentationsStrong desire to learn products, company and businessEducation Experience:Entry level position with trajectory to become Sales Rep. Previous sales experience a plus but not required. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) a plus but not required.Working Conditions:This is a "boots on the ground" position with the majority of opportunities identified by being out in the field.#WI456
