Rennscot is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing team. The Financial Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of driving financial success in a fast paced environment. The Financial Leader will be the first in-house financial role within the organization and will be expected to perform activities at all levels. Description

Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Oversee the month-end and year-end financial close processes, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support business planning and performance evaluation. Collaborate with external CPAs to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements. Monitor and manage cash flow, including working capital, budget variances, and cash flow forecasting. Provide financial guidance and support to senior management, offering recommendations for operational and financial efficiencies. Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and policies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting. Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the company, including recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. Support HR administration by performing employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, facilitating payroll, and managing benefits enrollment. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. CPA certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to stakeholders. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning software is a plus.
