We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and analysis functions for our organization. Reporting directly to the Owner, this role will lead the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, robust internal controls, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, accounting principles, financial analysis, inventory management, and supply chain logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full accounting cycle, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement accounting workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Optimize inventory and purchasing processes, working closely with the operations team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and MRP/ERP system enhancements.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting role within manufacturing industries, preferably those involving complex supply chains, logistics, and operational processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred. MBA is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
