Our mission is to equip organizations with the knowledge and insights needed to proactively address risk, identify opportunities, and manage reputational concerns in an ever-changing landscape of public pressures.

About Gravity Research's Societal And Reputational Intelligence Service

Our newest product is a research service designed to empower Fortune 500 companies in making informed decisions regarding their engagement with societal issues such as racial equity, LGBTQ+ rights, climate change, and human rights. We offer comprehensive support by monitoring the current discourse surrounding these issues, benchmarking our clients' actions relative to industry peers, and providing in-depth analyses of the advantages and risks associated with engagement on specific topics.

Position Overview

As the Director of Content and Product Marketing you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy and implementing campaigns for our Societal and Reputational Intelligence Service. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your marketing expertise to drive lead generation, expand our client base, and influence the trajectory of our business, with a specific focus on content and product marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Content Marketing: Collaborate with research analysts to develop compelling product marketing assets, including white papers, articles, blog posts, infographics, and social media content, showcasing our expertise and insights. Create persuasive sales collateral and enablement materials, such as one-pagers and pitch decks. Craft engaging marketing messaging for use in outbound email campaigns, social media outreach, events, and on our website. Maintain and enhance our product-dedicated website, including the creation of landing pages for new case studies and thought leadership pieces. Oversee the creation of product-focused sales collateral and tools to support the sales team. Analyze market trends and competitive intelligence to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications Of The Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on content marketing and B2B sales support. Proven track record in increasing marketing lead volume and driving sales growth. Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, a history of taking initiative, and a strong sense of ownership. High energy, a keen sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Ability to build trust-based relationships with leaders in Sales and Research/Product. Experience with CRM and marketing automation software (Salesforce and Marketo preferred). Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary of $120,000 plus performance bonus.

Location: This job is based in Washington, DC. Gravity Research operates on a hybrid schedule, with employees required to be in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

About Us

Across Gravity Research, generally, the firm looks for three “pillar gifts” in you, and everyone else. In all of us, these are more aspirational than actual, but they are central in our intentions –

Force of Ideas: At the center of Gravity Research’s work are the ideas within our work. We believe that ideas—the good and not—have consequences. Our ultimate objective is to bring rigor, insight, and intellectual honesty to the goal of separating the bad from the good, and giving voice, argument, and flight to maintaining the latter. Spirit of Generosity: Gravity Research seeks in its ranks a spirit of generosity: a natural disposition in each colleague toward service and selfless conduct. Our writing should be cut from the same cloth—critical on the merits, but informed by charity and forbearance in measuring motive and personal character. Radical Responsibility: We give our people a lot of responsibility early on, and our top performers embrace it. We believe in holding ourselves and our colleagues accountable, taking ownership over big things, striving for excellence, and celebrating success.

Gravity Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate against our applicants because of race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
