Main Responsibilities of The Staff Accountant

  • Assist with month end close- journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, accruals, etc.
  • Processing sales tax (monthly and/or quarterly)
  • Accounts payable- entering into system and coding
  • Expense reporting
  • Involved in continuous improvement projects

Preferred Qualifications of The Staff Accountant Role

  • 2-4 years accounting experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
