We are seeking a
Client Service Associate
at our Norfolk, Virginia wealth management firm. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to a Private Client Wealth Management Team.
This position requires a dedicated presence in the downtown Norfolk, Virginia office five days a week.
Position responsibilities:
Administration of alternative investments: tracking investments, coordinating tax documents and executing capital calls
Coordinate investment account activity at Schwab – opening and closing brokerage accounts, transferring assets, money movement, and general account administration
Administration of Quarterly Reports – organizing, tracking, mailing
Assists in office organization, filing, scanning of documents to the client directory and electronic file creation
Assist in the coordination and finalization of client meeting materials
Coordination of office activities – check log, weekly reports, etc.
Work in conjunction with office administrators to ensure a high functioning office environment for staff and clients
Completes other duties as assigned
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
BS/BA degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with alternative investments is a plus
1-3 years of relevant work experience in the investment, insurance or trust administration fields
Experience with Orion, Salesforce or Schwab systems is a plus
Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple priorities, proficient time management, extreme attention to detail, excellent tracking and follow-through
Strong computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook)
Passion for client service
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment
