Summary: The Quality Coordinator is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our company to the next level with respect to Radiology Quality. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for work associated with the EQUIP mammography program, the Medical Peer Review Committee, Radiology Associates Peer Review/Peer Learning programs, Physician Compliance, Radiology Quality Audits, Merit Based Incentive Program (MIPS), Process Improvement, and other tasks as assigned. The Quality Coordinator works to achieve targeted quality improvement opportunities to ensure that the company's quality standards are consistently maintained. The Quality Coordinator understands quality methodologies and implements assigned tasks to improve patient safety and care.Essential Functions:Perform tasks associated with Mammography EQUIP Image Quality ReviewsCollect facility MQSA/FDA inspection reportsAudit physicians on mammography facility licenseAssist physicians with completion of Image Quality ReviewsPrepare and finalize EQUIP reports and distribute to facilitiesMaintain facility Mammography recordsOnboarding of new physicians and training on EQUIP processPerform tasks associated with the Quality Tracker ApplicationMaintain staff roles in application and ensure accuracy before generating reportsTrain Lead Interpreting Physicians (LIP) and LIP reviewers on Quality Tracker applicationWork with new facilities on the implementation and training of the EQUIP proceduresProvide ongoing oversight of Quality Tracker application to ensure continuous improvementPerform tasks associated with Medical Peer ReviewMonitor Peer Review emailPrepare submitted imaging studies for Medical Peer Review CommitteeAcquire medical records for each case required for the MPRCFax or email requests for medical records to facilities.Submit form to courier for pick up.Upload images from CD to PACS Enter reports in case fileUtilize any other tools for image acquisitionVerify completion of file on each patient for the MPRCPerform tasks associated with Medical Peer Review Committee (MPRC)Support MPRC Chairman in administrative dutiesSchedule meetings in the Committee Tracker applicationSend notifications to physicians and verify quorumOrder catering for meetings and send invoices to accountingCreate and distribute MPRC letters to physicians and facilitiesMaintain confidentiality of patient records and MPRC proceedingsPrepare MPRC meeting minutes and log attendancePerforms tasks associated with Quality AuditsCritical results, solid organ grading, rib fracture, and addendum auditMonitors and routinely completes assigned quality auditsOngoing review of Quality Audit process to identify areas for improvement to optimize workflowsAssist with scheduling meetings for Section Chairs and Peer Learning CommitteeMonitor Peer Learning Administrative dashboard for peer learning submissions and case acknowledgementProvide support and reminders to encourage physician participationAssists Peer Learning Coordinator in performing assigned tasks for Peer LearningProvide training and ongoing support for physician's related to the Peer Learning applicationCreate and distribute Peer Learning reporting to Facility contacts in a timely manner according to a predetermined schedulePerform tasks associated with the CMS Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)Provide MIPS training and education on Quality Measures for physicians and/or business staffMonitor provider compliance and implement targeted corrective actionRespond to requests regarding provider performancePerform tasks associated with Onboarding new Physicians and FacilitiesAssist with the maintenance of physician and facility lists for the Quality Department and OperationsAssist with physician and APP orientationSupport department and company goalsMake recommendation and/or suggestions to improve procedures and efficiencyManage the acquisition of Data Exchange Agreements and complete annual auditQualifications: Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing dataBachelors Degree preferredExperience: 3 years in the healthcare industry.
