Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our financial team. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and performing various accounting functions. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The ideal candidate has strong experience in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing and recording journal entries and supporting analysis, conducting regular analysis of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies or variances, supporting the monthly close process, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures, assisting with budget and forecast preparation, collaborating with stakeholders for audits, and assisting in the development of financial systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Skills

+ 3-5+ years accounting experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

+ Understanding of GAAP

+ Intermediate Excel proficiency

+ Detail-oriented

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Ability to work independently

+ Collaborative
