What you'll bring BS or higher degree Electrical Engineering plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience with electronic design for embedded motor control Demonstrated Experience with mixed-signal electronic design for precise sensing Knowledge of analog and digital design. Proficient in Schematic design, PCB layout, PCBs bring-up and prototyping, DfM and DfA. Proficient in the use of electrical design CAD tools (preferably Altium). Demonstrated experience working with motors, encoders and other sensors. Working knowledge of embedded electronic design including ASIC, FPGA, micro-controllers. Working knowledge of EMI/EMC and electrical safety. Proficient with embedded firmware development. Proven experience interfacing with and managing external resources, e.g suppliers, OEMs. Proficient in use of and maintaining laboratory equipment (power supply, oscilloscope, multimeter, solder station, signal generator) Self-starter with excellent teamwork and communication skills. Nice to have Working knowledge of quality design standards (UL, IEC, IEEE) preferred Experience with the following regulations preferred: FDA 21 CFR Part 820 – FDA Quality System Regulation IEC 60601-1 – Safety standard for electro-medical devices ISO 13485 -Medical Devices Quality Management Systems – Requirements for Regulatory Purposes What else?
