Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of electrical systems projects, including energy generation, distribution, and management.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of electrical systems to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with facilities leadership and staff to develop and implement electrical system designs and specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with building codes and UCF Construction Standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to electrical system performance and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on electrical systems design and implementation.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Florida Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Florida Certified Electrical Contractor.
  • Certified Electrician (EC).
  • Registered Electrician (ER).
  • Certified Electrical Specialty Contractor (ES), and/or Registered Electrical Specialty Contractor (ET).
