Your Role:

As an Outside Sales Executive based in Chicago, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of The Pack Labs. Your primary role will be to engage with wellness retailers, head shops, vape shops, and convenience stores, building robust relationships and promoting our unique product range to expand our market share and presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate sales by identifying new business opportunities and managing leads from initial contact through to closure.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing retail partners while consistently adding new stores to our network.
  • Deliver engaging and informative sales presentations to a variety of audiences, showcasing our product advantages and company values.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and local community events to promote our products and enhance brand visibility.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to adapt sales tactics and strategies accordingly.
  • Efficiently manage your territory through effective planning and time management to maximize customer engagement and sales output.
  • Regularly update CRM systems with customer interactions, progress, and sales data to ensure accurate tracking and support strategic sales planning.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in the hemp, cannabis, or related consumer goods industries.
  • Strong network within the retail sectors mentioned, with a proven ability to expand client bases.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas in a structured sales environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software like Hubspot or Salesforce and familiar with office productivity tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ($48k-$60k) with a commission structure designed to reward high performance.
  • Expected on-target earnings (OTE) between $90,000 and $125,000, dependent on meeting sales targets.
