Company Description Location: This role is based on-site at the client in Minneapolis, Minnesota Job Description At NielsenIQ, we work with retailers to help them understand their consumers and optimize their business down every aisle. As a Client Manager, you are responsible for all customer activity and the overall success of NielsenIQ at the customer. This includes delivering timely outcomes and customer value through the data and analytics which drive the overall customer experience and elevate NielsenIQ's performance. As a Client Manager on the Retail Analytics team, you will: Independently complete analyses using NielsenIQ’s proprietary tools and secondary data to develop insights that drive client outcomes. Drive engagement on client and internal NielsenIQ strategic projects and initiatives. Develop expertise and ability to advise industry-leading clients on marketing plans and industry trends, participating in client discussions and presentations as applicable. Build strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to your clients. Identify opportunities to collaborate across NielsenIQ teams and drive sales with clients. Requirements Bachelor's Degree required. 4-8 years’ experience in FMCG, CPG, and Retail industries and application to client-related business issues. Strong analytical aptitude. Experience in client service environment and ability to develop, maintain, and grow client relationships in complex situations. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software. Qualifications Skilled and polished communicator, including client issues and presentations. Able to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations and resolve client issues. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Logic, deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes. Able to synthesize data and simplify findings to solve client business issues. Able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Willingness to learn or already able to analyze large data sets, preferably utilizing SQL, Snowflake, R, and/or similar tools. Preferred Skills Prior experience with pricing management and/or price optimization strongly preferred. Ability to conduct client training, clearly sharing NielsenIQ tools and services with clients. Ability to notice, build on, and pass along sales opportunities. Interest in innovation to support continuous improvement of NielsenIQ products and services. Knowledge of statistical approaches.
