Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for electrical hardware design and engineering circuit boards and high level assemblies; candidate would design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Skill sets required: Analog, Mixed Signal, Power design.
  • Candidate would be responsible to maintain and develop new and existing designs to meet customer needs.
  • Candidate may have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Candidate will resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Candidate will have access/regular touchpoints with more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with minimum of 5 years relative work experience in power electronics and analog system design.
Desired Characteristics
  • Design experience in Mixed signal and/or power space in industry. Experience using Matlab or Excel, circuit analysis tools to analyze and model.
  • Experience integrating a circuit board into a high level assembly or system and running system level evaluation in industry.
  • Experience with documenting work within a controlled system (ie MyWorkshop, Library system)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; strong team player.
