Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry-Level Procurement Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining SAP Purchasing Information Record (PIR) Material Master Data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data and is eager to contribute to process improvements within the procurement function.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Develop and manage SAP Material Master Data within the SAP PIR system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
+ Assist the accounts payable team in addressing and resolving invoice discrepancies.
+ Support sourcing activities for raw materials, contributing to procurement events and processes.
+ Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and data management.
+ Conduct ongoing and periodic maintenance of PIR Material Master Data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Investigate and develop tools to enhance processes and perform data cleansing.
+ Provide general assistance with SAP PIR projects and various business systems processes.
+ Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed, which may be formally or informally added, deleted, or modified at the discretion of management.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree or Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
