Job Title: Procurement Manager

Monster Energy is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of all primary packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage costs by securing, analyzing, and comparing quotations from suppliers, and facilitating price negotiations with management.
  • Manage supplier relationships, day-to-day priorities, and high-level projects with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with supply agreements and monitor supply vs. demand, preparing reporting to track supply vs. purchase commitments.
  • Monitor logistics costs and manage freight reconciliations by supplier and finance accruals.
  • Manage all global reconciliations, financial impacts, and cost accruals, ensuring receipt from each supplier monthly.
  • Analyze inventories on hand by supplier, manage run-out plans, and manage obsolete inventories and their disposition.
  • Work closely with Technical Services and Engineering on the quality and performance of suppliers, supporting regional and global supply and quality issues.
  • Manage cost reduction projects, such as light weighting and productivity initiatives.
  • Lead the analysis of cost changes and accounting purchase price variances, ensuring accurate reporting to leadership.
  • Manage claims with and between suppliers and co-packers.
  • Participate in high-level business teams to understand regional business strategies and align those with both regional and global procurement category strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience with a CPG company (beverage industry preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation skills, understanding of commodities and hedging tools, and knowledge of aluminum market conditions.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to analyze large amounts of data and creatively problem-solve, with strong communication skills across different countries and functions within an organization.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • SAP experience preferred.
What We Offer:

Competitive base pay range: $93,000 - $134,000, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
