Responsible as a liaison with project developers, engineers, contractors, facility managers and operations in the development of multifaceted distributed energy projects and the sale of equipment and service contracts. Applications include cogeneration (also called combined heat and power), micro-grids, and behind-the-meter peak demand management. Complete and thorough understanding of the Capstone Microturbine Technology. Comprehension of grid interconnection requirements, emissions limits and air permitting, and combined heat and power financing and incentive programs. Identify project opportunities and conduct preliminary feasibility analyses to screen potential opportunities for fit to the E-Finity and Capstone portfolio of products. Assist engineers, contractors, and end user customers in requirements analysis, develop innovative solutions, and lead the presentation of results in multi-party review meetings. Develop preliminary CHP and micro-grid designs, cost estimates, and budgetary proposals. Direct the preparation and modification of project designs utilizing Capstone Microturbines, specifications, plans, and construction schedules. Prepare proposals, designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment, or components. Close sales and support the project engineer during execution according to customer specifications, schedules, and budget; maintain productive contact with the customer, monitor plant performance, and service after commissioning to ensure customer satisfaction. Proficiency in Spanish language is preferred. Proficiency in Spanish is not required for the performance of duties. Telecommuting position.

Job requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering + 2 years of experience selling complex technologies, specifically Capstone Microturbine technology.
