The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting business data to drive insightful decision-making and business process improvements. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, create visually appealing reports and dashboards, and deliver actionable insights using Power BI. Your strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and Power Platform expertise will contribute to the success of our organization. Incumbents in this functional area are responsible for liaising between business stakeholders/customers and technical team members throughout all phases of the project life cycle. These phases include requirements gathering, design and development activities, testing, implementation, and ongoing operations. The Business Analyst is responsible for building strong, trusting relationships with diverse groups. Incumbents will leverage those relationships to lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders and articulate business needs into technical specifications, clearly and successfully.

Detailed List Of Job Duties And Responsibilites

Partner with customers to gain a solid understanding of their business processes that need to be supported by the assigned application/ system. Develop functional and technical specifications that satisfy business requirements. Develop and deliver technical support, design documents and task lists in a timely and professional manner. Balance multiple initiatives/projects that overlap each other while meeting project specific implementation dates. Analyze business requirements and their impact on services and features and participate in design of all assigned systems.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Special Skill Set, Abilities & Knowledge):

Experience in business analysis, project management or in a technical liaison capacity Experience leading requirement gathering sessions, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely, Strong written and verbal communication with a diverse user group, including executives, managers, and end users Experience reviewing applications/ systems for gap analysis. Proven understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Strong relationship building abilities with diverse stakeholders at varying levels and with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and in team settings with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and manage competing demands. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis and reporting. Strong expertise in using Power Platform tools, particularly Power BI. Proficiency in data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and M (Power Query Formula Language). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. Solid understanding of business processes, operations, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in Agile environments and using Agile methodologies. Familiarity with other Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate is desirable. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
