Position Overview: The Analyst II plays a critical role in ensuring that planograms adhere to the established standards of the assigned brand. This position involves managing tasks related to reset activities through the development and adherence to existing guidelines while providing optimal assortments to support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain robust relationships with Space Management Support Analysts, offering constructive feedback and formulating action plans in collaboration with vendor partners for effective planogram development.
  • Provide strategic input and direction to enhance plan execution and reset scopes developed with Category Managers to meet targeted objectives.
  • Review and approve the final versions of planograms in conjunction with Space Management Support Analysts and Category Managers.
  • Analyze the unique complexities of base and local assortments, as well as Category decisions, to determine the most effective planograms for specific stores and customer segments.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all planograms to maximize customer satisfaction, optimize sales, and efficiently allocate inventory.
  • Oversee the planogram test set process, collaborating with the Category team to ensure timely completion of item setups to drive planogram activities.
  • Maintain planogram integrity and compliance with brand merchandising standards while achieving inventory efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Manage the timeline for Category Review and Cycle Reset activities, balancing business needs and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate retail visits as necessary, providing feedback and developing actionable plans.
  • Foster relationships with various cross-functional teams to coordinate planogram activities and share best practices.
  • Contribute to the definition and types of resets to improve store-level execution and sales, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • 3+ years of experience in merchandising, vendor/broker, or project management roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Effective time management and project management skills.
  • Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in Store Operations or Category Management.
  • Familiarity with shelf merchandising processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of brand merchandising principles.
