We're seeking a Production Engineer to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our operations. Situated in a brand-new facility, this role offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic engineer to leave their mark. The ideal candidate will demonstrate not only a robust mechanical and manufacturing acumen but also exceptional problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal abilities.In addition, well-developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal will be essential. Working as a Production Engineer it is important that you are capable of effectively managing changing priorities, are self-motivated and thrive in an extremely fast paced environment. You must understand lean manufacturing principals, have a high level of mechanical aptitude, be a strong proponent of continuous change and enjoy spending time on the production floor. This is a hands on engineering position.Responsibilities:Be responsible for implementing and maintaining high safety standardsMaintain processes and product to established Quality Control standardsAbility to analyze and resolve problemsAbility to propose and implement new processes and process improvements with minimal guidanceProject managementProvide input and implementation of standard operating proceduresImplement lean principles such as takt times, visual managementBe a positive change agent for production processesLiaison between design engineering and productionServing as a technical resource to production staff, customers and salesWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Lean Manufacturing Experience Strong verbal, and written communication skillsProcess Implementation ExperienceProject ManagementEducation:BachelorsExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Bachelor???s degree in engineering from an accredited university (Mechanical or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering preferred, but other concentrations will be considered for the right candidate)Three to ten years of manufacturing experience requiredAbility to read, write and understand EnglishIf you're ready to make a tangible impact and thrive in an environment that values innovation and initiative, we want to hear from you.
