You will collaborate with school leaders and hiring managers to recruit top talent, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. This is a unique opportunity to apply your HR expertise in a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities: Partner with principals and hiring managers to recruit and hire a diverse and qualified workforce. Review applications, screen candidates, and facilitate interview panels. Process personnel actions for regular and temporary employees, ensuring accurate salary placement. Provide guidance on HR policies, master agreements, and legal regulations. Develop and deliver recruitment presentations and materials. Build partnerships with community organizations to address staffing needs. Work with administrators to identify vacancies and potential surplus employees. Assist employees with transfers, leaves of absence, and return-to-work accommodations. Collaborate with other HR teams to resolve employee concerns and grievances. Utilize and maintain HR information and applicant tracking systems. Coordinate and monitor the onboarding process for new hires. Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track personnel data. Prepare reports, statistics, and analyses as requested. Conduct new hire orientation sessions and participate in recruitment events. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and strategic planning within the HR team. Consult with the Office of Investigations and Records Management on pre-employment and post-employment reviews. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources administration. Preferred experience in developing and delivering training programs. Preferred Qualifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification. Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Strong understanding of human resources administration principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and develop solutions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build effective working relationships.
