Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership and Communication:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization's goals and enhance overall business performance.
  • Advise senior management on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors' activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations on how to innovate and maintain a competitive advantage in the market landscape.
  • Leverage deep understanding of private equity dynamics to drive strategic HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, retention strategies, organizational design, and cultural integration post-acquisition, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and maximizing portfolio company performance.
  • Spearhead HR operations across multi-state, multi-branch environments, implementing scalable policies and programs in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning to foster consistency, efficiency, and a cohesive organizational culture across diverse geographical locations.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Implement strategies for workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
Employee Development and Performance Management:
  • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
  • Create and oversee employee training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and organizational policies regarding compensation and benefits.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Promote a positive work environment and culture through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction and retention.
HR Operations and Compliance:
  • Ensure HR operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR records and manage HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).
Organizational Development and Change Management:
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
  • Manage change processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive succession planning strategies to identify and cultivate talent, ensuring continuity of leadership and organizational resilience.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the HR department budget.
  • Optimize resource allocation and manage costs effectively.

Qualifications:
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a VP of HR or in a senior HR leadership role, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functions including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing private equity transactions and acquisitions, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and post-acquisition integration strategies to drive portfolio growth and enhance investor returns.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is preferred.
Work Environment:
