We are the Orlando International Airport, managed by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). Our airport is a premier facility catering to over 55 million travelers annually and continues to expand.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Direct the comprehensive management of the Airport Operations divisions at Orlando International Airport (MCO), encompassing Landside, Airfield, Airline, Baggage Handling Systems & Ground Support Equipment, Parking & Ground Transportation, and Systems Operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, coupled with ten (10) years of directly relevant experience in airport or airline operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A minimum of five (5) years in management and leadership roles is essential, including directing and overseeing personnel across multiple airport operations sectors and emergency response operations.
Experience with FAR 139 and 49 CFR part 1542 compliance is mandatory.Experience in airport parking operations is preferred.
Industry credentials such as the American Association of Airport Executives' Certified Member (C.M.) or Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.), or Airports Council International's International Airport Professional (IAP) are advantageous.
Proven ability to analyze, develop, and implement complex operational initiatives is required.
Exceptional public relations skills to represent the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority effectively.
Ability to interpret and compile statistical data, prepare detailed reports, contracts, and analyze legal and financial documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation capabilities, and proficiency in English are essential.
Demonstrated skill in supervising and motivating personnel is necessary.
Strong contract negotiation skills are required.
Experience with regulatory compliance, including FAR 139 and 49 CFR part 1542, is essential.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, including but not limited to:
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Regulations Part 1542, and Federal Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements, is crucial.
Intermediate computer skills and effective time management abilities are expected.
