The Role Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CAD Automation Engineer/Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing a CAD connector for our PLM platform, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain CAD connector and automation solutions to streamline processes within our platform, ensuring reliability, seamless integration, and scalability.

Collaborate closely with software development and other teams to understand project requirements.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of CAD connector and automation scripts & tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.

Document CAD connector and automation workflows, configurations, and implementation details to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer among team members.

Proactively engage with stakeholders, including product and PLM teams, to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring that CAD connector and automation solutions precisely meet user needs, expectations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

Proficiency in .Net, C#, and REST API development environments.

Familiarity with CAD automation development processes.

Hands-on experience in SolidWorks CAD API programming.

Understanding of Product Structure Architecture.

Proficiency in Visual Studio development environment.

Experience with any PDM/PLM Software.

Basic understanding of Engineering Standards.

Experience with creating models and assemblies.

Good knowledge of MS Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
