The LIBRE Initiative is looking for a passionate advocate for liberty to be our next Grassroots Engagement Director in the Southeast Wisconsin area. You will identify, recruit, and lead volunteers in voter-contact activity as our activist base holds our elected officials accountable.
You Will...

Build and lead a community of volunteers who will engage in multiple voter-contact activities including phone banking, door-to-door canvassing, and online activism
Work with community leaders to educate the public on critical policy issues and legislation.
Be the brand ambassador and local face for the LIBRE Initiative in your community.
Plan, promote, and execute large public facing events.
You Will Need

A deep belief in people-empowering, bottom-up, public policy solutions that limit the coercive nature of government and empower individuals to pursue their American Dream
Leadership skills We need someone with strong people skills and humility to embrace our growth-focused culture
Comfort and confidence working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment independent of direct supervision or direction. We need a go-getter who can figure out how to overcome new and unique challenges
The ability to travel at least 25% of the time and a valid drivers license.
To be fluent in Spanish and English and also have a deep knowledge base on the issues facing the Latino communities in Southeast Wisconsin.
Stand Out Candidates Will Also Have

Knowledge of the political, economic, and legislative landscape of Southeast Wisconsin.
A background in grassroots activism, political lobbying, canvassing, or campaign work
Experience managing and developing engaging social media
