**Job Responsibilities:**
* Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
* Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
* Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
* Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
**Minimum Requirements**
* Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering + 10 years related experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 20+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)
* Professional Engineer (PE)
* Experience designing highway/roadway systems, drainage systems, and traffic control plans
* Experience managing multidisciplinary project with subconsultants
* Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
* Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is
* TxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Freeway Interchanges, Bridge Design, Multi-Level Interchange Design, Bridge Class Culverts, Signing & Pavement Markings, Illumination, Rail-Highway Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities, Hydraulic Design, Environmental Studies, and Transportation System Planning)
* Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
* Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews
* Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits
* Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development
