Your Impact: Elevate Operations
Lead & Supervise:Directly supervise and evaluate warehouse personnel on the dock, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient load handling, and the safe use of equipment such as electronic pallet jacks and forklifts with clamp and slip attachments, and pallet jacks.
Lead by Example: You won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves, and help with unloading, unpacking and minor cleaning duties whenever needed, always leading by example.
Build Relationships:Quickly form effective working relationships. Your ability to connect and communicate will drive team cohesion and operational success. That includes working closely with the customer.
Ensure Safety & Compliance:Maintain the highest standards of safety through observations, incident reporting, and compliance with all safety protocols. Your vigilance will ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Operational Excellence:Oversee work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow to meet client requirements. Your focus on efficiency will enhance productivity and service quality.
Collaborate & Train:Work closely with the Site Manager to interview, hire, and train new employees (including on facility equipment). Lead training initiatives to improve employee performance and morale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
Problem-Solve & Innovate:Be a natural problem solver, addressing operational challenges with innovative solutions and proactive strategies to maintain seamless operations.

Your Arsenal: Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of related work and supervisory experience inside inbound warehouse or distribution center environments.
  • 2-3 years of 3rd Party Logistic experience desired.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment and ability to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with the team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining safety standards and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Forklift certification and experience with clamp and slip attachments preferred.
