Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our esteemed client, a prominent contractor specializing in engineering, civil works, and groundwork projects across Essex.

Specializations:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in highways, coastal infrastructure, footpaths, drainage systems, and marine projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise on-site operations, ensuring effective management of subcontractors and directly employed personnel.
  • Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including permits, reports, construction documents, specifications, and related materials.
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their requirements, address inquiries, and instill confidence in our operational methodologies.
  • Facilitate the seamless handover of projects to clients, adhering to established company standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to optimize opportunities and mitigate risks, aiming for optimal project cost management.
Experience Required:

The candidate should possess the capability to manage a diverse range of project values, from standard £50k initiatives to complex £10m schemes, either independently or as part of a larger management team.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of on-site experience in a supervisory role.
  • A civil engineering qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possession of a clean driving license and a valid CSCS card.
