The Future of Gaming Awaits

The gaming industry is larger than movies, music, and books combined, with over 3 billion active gamers playing monthly and over 25 million active developers worldwide. Responsibilities:
  • Handling player inquiries and escalated issues directly from our players or Tier 1 agents. Identifying and reporting player trends and issues to other areas of the business.
  • Revising and building player-facing support templates, FAQs, and other materials. Packaging and funneling feedback to stakeholders across product, engineering, and development teams.
  • Contributing strategically to the growth and direction of Skillz products and services while maximizing player retention.
  • Completing ad-hoc projects to support the Player Support team with high-quality output.
Key Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and solve technical issues.
  • Detail-oriented, passionate about video or mobile games, with a competitive spirit.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to tight deadlines.
Experience:
  • Experience playing video or mobile games (required).
  • 1+ years of customer service experience, ideally in gaming, mobile technology, iGaming, social media, or advertising.
  • 1+ years of experience with help desk ticketing systems preferred; Zendesk experience is a bonus.
  • 1+ years of technological or video game troubleshooting experience is a bonus.


Starting Compensation:$20 per hour, with potential for equity (RSU & PSU) based on strong performance.

Location: Las Vegas HQ - Onsite for 4 days (Tuesday-Friday), 1 day WFH (Saturday).
