SUMMARY
The Medical Office Associate is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and secretarial duties in the assigned office. This includes:

- processing patient referrals to specialists
- screening and sorting mail
- checking patients in and out and scheduling follow-up appointments
- answering phone calls
- greeting patients
- and much more

QUALIFICATIONS
1. An associate degree in business, secretarial science or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology.
2. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
* Work performed in climate-controlled, indoor setting 80.00%
* Frequently required/prolonged sitting, standing or walking 80.00%
