SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the patient stay experience through the Bedside Bistro Dining (room service) program. The patient meal associate is responsible for patient meal experience from preparation of individual plates, delivery, and pick-up and does so in a way that makes the patient feel welcome during their stay at the Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Requires a high school diploma/GED or one-year previous job experience in lieu of high school diploma/GED.
2. Requires two weeks on the job training; knowledge of attractive food service and standards of sanitation is preferred.
3. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
* Frequent interruption, crowded conditions or excessive noise 80.00%
* May be exposed to fumes from gas stoves 35.00%
* Subject to exposure to varied temps (80+ to -10 degrees) 35.00%
* Subject to wet and slippery floors & surfaces 35.00%
