SUMMARY
The Patient Registration Specialist is responsible for managing check-in and check-out processes in a manner that prioritizes patient care and efficiency. Key responsibilities include welcoming patients, confirming their information, guiding them through the clinic, and additional related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in customer service is essential.
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
- Experience in registration or front office roles within a medical clinic is desirable.
- Completion of Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance, and an FBI criminal history check is required.
- Work is conducted in a climate-controlled indoor environment.
- Regularly involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
