-IDS is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to join our firm in our Troy office.

IDS is a full-service architectural and engineering firm providing comprehensive design services to serve the following markets: education, healthcare, commercial, data centers, research and development, sports, recreation, athletics, and industrial. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or business, along with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and will be comfortable interacting with executive-level staff and learning new tasks quickly. This position involves a lot of multi-tasking, so we are looking for an individual with strong time-management skills. Role & Responsibilities

: · General ledger and Reporting – from chart of accounts maintenance to year-end financial close, including account reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts · Payroll verification and backup. Bi-weekly payroll fiscal activities (process payments, posting in AJERA, payroll liabilities reconciliation). · Process Retirement Plan Contributions, HSA payments, Medical claims payments · Banking activities · Manage accounting staff who handle day-to-day activities, including, but not limited to: Project set-up, client invoicing, and accounts receivable Accounts payable, including employee expense reports Credit Card receipts and monthly account reconciliation · Accounting staff development including coaching, and performance evaluation. Collaboratively work with accounting staff to strengthen skill set of all and address company needs pro-actively · AJERA system security, set-ups, injuries, widget development and maintenance · Annual budget Provide support to Boad of Managers Enter into AJERA Update Performance v. Budget Develop annual expense projections with Director of Finance · Document, review, and seek improvements in position related processes, i.e., keep business office procedures current · Corporate insurance review and renewal · Report directly to the Board of Managers on accounting matters · Assist the Director of Finance with monthly financial memos and reports · Prepare quarterly reports to be incorporated into the Board Report · Monthly cash flow projections and year end planning · Work with second party corporate accounting firm for misc. audits and yearend financial statements · Assist second party accounting firm with establishing annual LLC value · Financial reporting to outside organizations, e.g. bank, personal property tax statements, LARA Position Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business · Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience · CPA preferred, but not required · Must be able self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum direction · Proficiency in working with accounting systems · Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word, Teams, Outlook · Must be detail oriented with strong analytic skills · Team player, positive working relationship throughout the organization · Knowledge of design and execution of internal controls to mitigate risks and validate amounts · Deltek, AJERA or SQL experience preferred · Previous work with a professional consulting firm preferred · Previous experience in the

design/construction
