This group is responsible for all of the monthly financial statements, quarterly filings and annual reporting packages. This is a very visible role that will interact with all levels of management as well as with internal audit, finance, investor relations and tax. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step out of public accounting into a corporate role as well as someone from a corporate background looking for additional exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting issues. This role is open due to an internal transfer. Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reports as well as monthly financial statements Perform quarterly financial analysis and provide written narration for key differences Assist with SOX 404 compliance activities and external audit requests Interface with CFO, Controller, and related groups to include tax, treasury, general accounting, accounting policy, legal, internal audit and the company’s external auditor’s Other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned Basic Qualifications: 5-6 years of experience with accounting, financial/SEC reporting, debt offerings and working with external auditors. Additional Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills; will interact with leadership regularly Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and interpret accounting information Knowledge of compliance with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley, including identifying and documenting key controls and processes, assisting with remediation activities, and supporting related internal controls testing
