The Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance and tax provision calculations by leveraging technology to optimize processes and drive efficiency. This individual will be a key player in evaluating tax impacts, identifying tax-related opportunities, and providing valuable insights to cross-functional stakeholders. This role will report to the Tax Manager and will have exposure to organizational leadership across the company. Responsible for timely and accurate tax compliance preparation to include compiling data and supporting documentation. Review financial records and other relevant documents to calculate tax impacts and ensure adherence to changes in tax laws and regulations. Assist in evaluation and compliance efforts related to federal and state tax credits and incentive programs.Prepare annual and quarterly ASC 740 income tax provision calculations. Maintain tax records and documentation to support all positions taken. Evaluate and analyze financial data to identify tax implications and opportunities for optimization in evaluating tax impacts and effective tax rates.Leverage systems and technology tools to improve and optimize processes, including automation, for increased efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance and reporting.Perform tax research to assist in analyzing tax transactions and issues to support tax strategies and guidance in optimizing tax positions and potential benefits. Effectively communicate recommendations to tax team or management. Monitor current and proposed legislation to identify changes and evaluate potential tax impacts.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide tax-related insights, support and identification of tax planning opportunities. Regularly communicate with management to address developments.Assist in tax audits and notices from government agencies or auditors. Gather and organize relevant documents, prepare responses to inquiries and provide support for tax positions, including tax-related disputes. About You:1-4 years of demonstrated experience in Tax, Accounting and/or Finance roles.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related field.Execution-oriented, self-starter focused on process improvement and driving results.Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and reach conclusions, including proficient use of data analytic tools and applications.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate tax recommendations to business partners.Collaborative and curious mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally across multiple levels of the organization.PreferredMasters of Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar a plusPublic accounting experience a plusExperience with tax software and ERP systems; CCH Axcess and Workday a plus RequirementsMinimum 1-4 years of demonstrated experience in Tax, Accounting and/or Finance roles.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related field.Execution-oriented, self-starter focused on process improvement and driving results.Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and reach conclusions, including proficient use of data analytic tools and applications.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate tax recommendations to business partners.Collaborative and curious mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally across multiple levels of the organization.PreferredMasters of Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar a plusPublic accounting experience a plusExperience with tax software and ERP systems; CCH Axcess and Workday a plus
