Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is on the lookout for a seasoned professional to pinpoint, devise, develop, and integrate groundbreaking solutions and programs aimed at enhancing our last mile delivery network.
This role will spearhead the formulation and implementation of innovative global transportation strategies intended to boost overall efficiency and address the increasing demand for last mile capacity.
The ideal candidate will possess strong data mining and modeling capabilities and will be adept at facilitating ideas, guiding them from conception to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extracting and scrutinizing data utilizing Excel, SQL, Access, and various data management systems.
- Overseeing existing metrics, analyzing data, and collaborating with internal teams to uncover opportunities for process and system enhancements.
- Designing and executing reporting solutions that empower stakeholders to effectively manage the business and make informed decisions.
- Assisting cross-functional teams in the daily execution of existing program implementations.
- Driving small to medium-scale operational improvement projects.
- Leading a team of professionals.
- Researching and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries and generating business intelligence reports using Tableau and Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in defining requirements and leveraging data and metrics to derive business insights.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with SQL.
- Ability to make business recommendations and influence stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company, and depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on bonuses, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a comprehensive compensation package, alongside a full suite of medical, financial, and other benefits.
