Position Summary

The Project Accountant provides analysis regarding projects and prepares information affecting the financial aspects of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects. Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to accounting. Generate invoicing for projects as required by each specific contract. Perform all responsibilities for compliance as dictated by the customer. Process payroll on a weekly basis. Perform job cost analysis and reporting. Generate reports needed by management, shop supervisors, and project managers. Perform miscellaneous accounting functions related to purchase orders, statements, expense reports, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Minimum of four years of related experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational skills and must be able to make independent judgments and decisions. Experience with Textura Payment Management or Tekla EPM is a plus. The ability to multi-task as needed. Physical Demands

Ability to work in a highly stressful and high-volume working environment. Must be available to work long hours and weekends. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to sit and work directly on a computer for long periods of time. All the physical demands listed are essential functions.
