Provide leadership and daily oversight for operations associated with the entire life cycle of the construction process. Provide support to all ongoing construction operations including Project Management and project staff. Position will entail responsibilities of Senior Project Manager and will include managing own suite of projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with business development, management, and pre-construction teams to secure work.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their associated projects to assure positive experiences and garner repeat business opportunities.
  • Assist business unit leaders (EVP, President, BDO, and Managers) in daily operational and tactical aspects of all facets of their duties.
  • Provide technical advice and support when needed for all team members.
  • Innovate, influence, and advocate for processes improvement and positive change.
  • Work with corporate level executives, BDOs, and preconstruction teams towards goal of developing new clients, projects, existing clients, and past clients and projects to assure growth and opportunities.
  • Work with SPMs, PMs, PEs, and other support personnel to positively influence all project stakeholders.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients, architects, and design consultants to enhance company visibility and positive perception.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify business opportunities and position company for consideration.
  • Take active role in presentations or other methods of securing project opportunities.
  • Preconstruction:
  • Manage transition from potential client to new client. Assure client is comfortable with additional integration and introduction with additional Nabholz personnel.
  • Assure project management team (including General Superintendent) are properly integrated into the project.
  • Construction:
  • Assure client satisfaction.
  • Assist in schedule maintenance, budget maintenance, and risk mitigation.
  • Assure perception of involvement and interact with project stakeholders on frequent/regular intervals.
  • Assist in or lead in troubleshooting the resolution of issues adversely impacting, or the potential to impact the project.
  • Post-Construction:
  • Ensure all closeout documents are submitted, project is properly closed, and client expectations are managed.
  • Assure clients will be contacted regularly by members of the project team.
  • This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Community involvement.

  • Comfortable with and able to speak publicly.
  • Accepts responsibility, is accountable and able to hold others accountable.
  • Possess business acumen, and able to make critical business decisions.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel overnight as projects or corporate responsibilities require.
  • Ability to continuously sit, stand, or walk.
  • Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work in heat or cold, work outside, work in high elevations.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain typical of construction job sites.

Work environment:

  • Office, cubicle, workstation, job site, or job trailer.
