We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Overland Park, KS team
In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving OWN’s growth by managing and supporting various internal and external marketing activities. As our Marketing Specialist, you will be the creative force behind our brand’s voice and presence. If you have a passion for marketing, design, and creativity along with an appreciation for teamwork and collaboration, this role could be an ideal match.
What You Will Do
Collaborate & create: Work with our internal teams, videographers, and photographers to produce high-quality, branded marketing materials and campaigns.
Craft Content: Create compelling content for our website, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
Research & React: Stay ahead of industry trends and know our competition to keep us on the cutting edge.
Develop Comms: Collaborate with internal teams to execute internal and external communications.
Event Planning: Plan and develop new ideas for our bigger internal and external events
Network & Build Relationships: Develop relationships with industry professionals, media, and partners to amplify our reach.
You Will Be a Great Fit If You
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or similar
Have Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry knowledge
Are technologically savvy and proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Are familiar with Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
Understand analytics that translate to marketing KPIs
Approach design with creativity and discipline
Are extremely detail-oriented
Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Are organized and can handle multiple tasks at once
Enjoy taking initiative and are self motivated
Take ownership of your role and assignments while also having a collaborative spirit
Are a creative thinker with a knack for problem-solving
Have a love for trying new things and continued learning
Are an active member of the design and marketing community
