The Spartanburg operation is

a state-of-the-art

coffee roasting and pod packaging facility along with a full beverage distribution center. The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing; and the power of High-Performance Teams. All associates at the Spartanburg site will have specific accountability and ownership of site operations and the functional business operations to which of they belong. The site will run on

state-of-the-art

enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems, and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment, with highly standardized lean processes. Compensation:

This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly cycle. Compensation is flexible and

determined

by

the candidate's

experience level

. As the EH&S Manager you will have responsibility for the overall safety and environmental programs for ourSpartanburg site with a primary focus on the manufacturing environment of the Spartanburg Site. You will oversee, develop, and implement safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental programs for a manufacturing operation to ensure a compliant, safe, and incident-free work environment. You will also promote organizational safety and continuous environmental improvement by working with all departments to analyze current situations and recommend safety and environmental improvements. You will

provide

strategic directions and initiatives for safety and environmental improvement by analyzing and addressing root causes while reducing corporate liabilities and costs. Execute safety and industrial hygiene plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company, local, state (SC DHEC), and federal (OSHA) rules and regulations. Establish and

maintain

a commitment-based safety culture; develop and analyze leading indicators for the prevention of accidents and create/execute a continuous improvement plan. Maintain a system for reporting, monitoring, and correcting serious safety problems. Responsible for environmental plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal rules and regulations, and conformance to corporate policies Full oversight and management of municipality and state-granted environmental permits (Air Emissions, Stormwater) Provide

oversight of site security contractors; ensure their scope of work

provides

adequate protection of the property, building and workforce. Develop and administer safety training to site contractors and visitors and ensure site contractors understand and

comply with

KDP safety and environmental policies. With contracted medical providers,

provide

case management for injured employees; follow HR Return to Work policies Create and distribute incident and accident reports per KDP Policy Implement training programs which will increase

proficiency

in safe practices, promote safety consciousness, ensure environmental compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Drive implementation of strategic EH&S initiatives to achieve corporate EH&S

objectives

; inspires commitment and involvement with safety

objectives

and programs. Establishes site-specific safety and health goals and

objectives

for the company and departments ensuring the targets are consistent with corporate strategies and

objectives

. Analyzes safety processes throughout the company; proactively seeks areas of opportunity for improvement; share and adopt best practices with peers and colleagues Develop and implement a safety recognition process as part of a strong safety culture Communicate and celebrate successes to

maintain

and foster company-wide commitment to safety and environment;

provide

recommendations for corrective direction when EH&S programs deviate from strategic plans and

objectives

. Primary liaison between applicable regulatory and government agencies. Create and

submit

reports as required by external agencies (such as OSHA 300/300A Logs, Quarterly Air Emissions summaries) Formulates,

maintains

, and executes KeurigDr Pepperemergency plans. Function as Incident Commander

in the event of

emergency. Investigate all significant near misses, injuries, and safety events; work with teams to

determine

root cause and implement preventive measures. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities

in accordance with

the organization's principles, policies, and applicable laws. Monitors activities where accidents could occur, halting any operation or activity that constitutes an imminent hazard to personnel or equipment. Follow all KeurigDr Pepperpolicies and procedures.
