A top healthcare facility in Maryland is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to join their team.This exciting opportunity is with a not for profit community hospital in Eastern Maryland. The facility is known for getting their patients well and keeping them well. The facility specializes in primary care, general surgery, hematology, oncology, obstetrics, gynecology, and pain management.The Vice President of Human Resources will Responsible for executive level leadership of staff within the Human Resources Department and related areas including employee health, community wellness, and education and training to achieve long- and short-term department goals and objectives that are aligned with the organizations vision and business strategies. Collaborates with key decision-makers and leaders within the organization to ensure successful organization-wide programs and policies within human resources and related areas of oversight, oversees consultant and vendor relationships and contract negotiations, formulates and defines department budgets, oversees the development of employment policies and procedures that reduce litigation risk, and initiates programs to attract, retain and develop qualified personnel.The Vice President of Human Resources will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership, Masters degree in Human Resources, or related, Experience in an Acute Care Hospital, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or related certification is preferred, and possess an In-depth knowledge about Human Resource processes and best practices, employment legislation, and legal regulations.The area is filled with so many things to do to keep you happy on your days off If nature is your cup of tea take a walk or hike through the sanctuary, visit the many farms in the area, explore numerous trails, or even take a canoe trip to marvel at all the nature in the area.
