Description
The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for automation equipment and processes.
- Assist in equipment procurement, installation, and perform assigned duties.
- Collaborate with production and engineering, facilitating design changes and communicating recommendations.
- Design fixtures and tooling, troubleshoot product and process issues, and undertake special assignments.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvements, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure compliance with safety standards while participating in cross-functional meetings.

Profile
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience on the production floor.
- Green Belt Certification is preferred, but not required.
- Experience providing guidance on the floor and implementing continuous improvements and Lean Manufacturing efforts.
- Experience working with automated machinery.
- Showcase equipment troubleshooting skills, essential for debugging and resolving issues in existing systems.
- Exhibit strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Written communication skills are essential for record-keeping and documentation.
