Talent Acquisition Specialist
San Diego, 92127
Pay range: $40-44/hr.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring partners to understand their business strategy and identify specific skills needed for critical roles such as Project Managers, Project Engineers, and technicians within the renewable energy field.
Maintain the metrics and KPIs as set forth by the Talent Acquisition Manager
Manage candidate pipeline by continuously building and maintaining talent simultaneously showing responsiveness to all candidate inquiries
Source quality candidates for all positions across multiple states, including remote areas, through the use of social media, employee referrals, external hiring platforms, community outreach, and internal databases
Work on multiple high priority recruiting projects in a competitive environment at any given time
Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders
Apply Company’s HR recruiting best practices to all activities
Mentor or train junior level recruiters on Talent Acquisition
What you need:
3-5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience within the construction, renewable energy industry or other growing industry
Working knowledge of basic employment law surrounding recruiting, screening, and onboarding processes
Ability to understand various trades to best match candidates to roles, functions, skill levels
Previous experience with bulk recruiting preferred.
Experience with creating Boolean searches, knowledge of industry related job boards and talent pipeline cultivation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Experience in Workday and/or other Applicant Tracking Systems required
Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and manage numerous requisitions simultaneously under tight timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization
