Introduction:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Customer Account Management Specialist to join our team. The Customer Account Management Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, interacting with customers, providing quotes, and managing warranty claims. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and is detail oriented.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers in a professional manner, making communication with customers of utmost importance.
  • Process new customer purchase orders, this includes but is not limited to ensuring the correct part numbers of all items, verifying correct pricing on PO, obtaining freight quotes/verifying freight quotes are correct, manually inputting all line items on SO, acknowledging orders, accepting customer confirmations to release orders to production, sending order confirmations, inputting SO on the shipping calendar and sales summary.
  • Communicate with the customers on any changes with freight costs for approval before shipment.
  • Conduct a weekly sales summary and verify accuracy through ERP system.
  • Collaborate with accounting on orders and accuracy on reports.
  • Collaborate with production management on orders.
  • Provide customers with quotes via online or email. Quotes may include, but not limited to, parts, freight costs, and sales tax.
  • Assist customers with online credit card payments.
  • Manage warranty claims, this includes but is not limited to verifying SO and warranty terms, submitting to production management for approval, issuing credits, and updating quality reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a customer service, account management, sales, or similar role, required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with an ERP system, required

Compensation:

The starting pay range for this position is $22.00-$26.00 per hour based solely on years of experience in a account management, customer service, sales, or similar position.
