  • The Sr. Grant Accountant is responsible for performing grant-related tasks in a timely manner
  • Assists in the preparations of the annual indirect rate proposal as directed by the Director of Business & Finance
  • Perform quality control reviews of data entered into the financial system in order to ensure compliance and data integrity of the financial system
  • Prepare monthly grant invoices, reconciliations, and reporting as needed
  • Respond to questions from principal investigators and funding agencies related to details of proposals such as fringe benefit rates, verification of salaries and indirect costs.
  • Research and summarize information on government regulations pertinent to grants and contracts.
  • Compile data and prepare reports, set forth trends, analyze progress, and make recommendations or conclusions.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
